True to its core mission of delivering public service, Unang Hirit (UH)—the country’s longest-running morning show—rolled out its Serbisyong Totoo booth at the Manila North Cemetery on October 31 and November 1 and its Serbisyo Truck at the Bagbag Public Cemetery on November 1 for Undas 2024.

UH Barkada Ivan Mayrina, Mariz Umali, Suzi Entrata-Abrera, and Kaloy Tingcungco, together with UH funliners, were present at the Serbisyong Totoo booth at the Manila North Cemetery.

Hundreds of Kapuso flocked to the booth, eager to enjoy its upgraded offerings, which included free snacks, candles, water, coffee, mosquito patches, and wipes. Visitors also enjoyed having their photos taken with the UH Selfie Corner.

The UH hosts also interacted with the crowd, making the experience more memorable.

Suzi narrated how she felt while manning the Serbisyong Totoo booth. Hanggang sa susunod na Undas!” she said.

Mariz, likewise shared her excitement on joining Unang Hirit’s annual event.

Meanwhile, at the Bagbag Public Cemetery, considered one of Quezon City’s largest cemeteries, UH has improved access to its services through its Serbisyo Truck, which serves both as a giant TV screen and a surprise corner. Chef JR Royol delighted visitors with traditional kakanin, while Sean Lucas handed out snacks and other treats.

“Ang maganda rito, ‘yung ating Serbisyo truck (this year), mayroon ding LED wall kung saan naka-livestream ang Unang Hirit para updated ang mga Kapuso natin,” shared Chef JR.

In addition to providing services at cemeteries, UH has spread joy to commuters at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) by distributing snacks, water, and even cash prizes.

Since 2009, UH has been delivering ‘Serbisyong Totoo’ to the public every Undas as it embraces the Filipino values of honoring all departed loved ones and cherishing their families.

As Unang Hirit celebrates its 25th Anniversary this coming December, viewers can expect more public service, fun activities, and surprises.
